Q2. How do I go about getting a tutor?
In the first instance contact Pass Plus Tutors directly. Once your enquiry has been formally processed, Pass Plus Tutors will contact a tutor in your area who is availble and is able to offer the subject(s) you require. The tutor will then contact you directly to arrange an informal meeting to discuss your exact tuition requirments. At the same time we will send you an information pack and a registration form for you to return to Pass Plus Tutors.
Q3. How do I pay?
Payment is made direct to the tutor, at the end of each tuition session. It is the tutor’s responsibility to pay the agency fee to Pass Plus Tutors.
Q4. How do I know that my child will be safe?
Here at Pass Plus Tutors we are fully aware of the anxiety a parent, and a student, may feel when first undertaking private home tuition. All new tutors who register with Pass Plus Tutors have to undergo a series of stringent background checks, including an enhanced Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) check. We encourage all new parents and pupils to meet with their tutor prior to commencing tuition to talk through anything you are not sure of and to clarify any questions you may have. Please contact us directly if you have any questions.
Q5. What reassurance do I have about the tutors?
As part of our seven stage registration process, apart from our tutors undergoing an enhanced CRB
(police-check) disclosure, we take up two professional references and ask to see proof of identity and address. You can rest assured that we do everything possible to ensure the highest standards of private home tuition are achieved and maintained.

We ensure that all tutors registered with Pass Plus Tutors possess all of the relevant teaching material and are up to date with the current syllabuses.

Q11. Won’t my child be too tired to receive private home tuition after school?
One-to-one private tuition is different from a classroom environment, and can be very stimulating. Of
course, it depends on the age of the pupil, but you can arrange tuition times with the tutor so that your child is not too tired to benefit from the lessons.
